The latest incident occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. in Hempstead, Nassau County Police said.
According to detectives, Hempstead Police received a call for a man lying on the ground on Thorne Avenue and upon arrival they found the body of an unidentified male.
The death, according to detectives, appears to be suspicious in nature. The investigation is ongoing.

Earlier overnight, a person was shot and killed and two others hospitalized with gunshot wounds in an incident in Roosevelt.
